Horse Care & Welfare has been developed in association with the Racing Academy & Centre of Education (RACE) and Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) as a stepping stone in developing a career with horses.
Modules cover the important areas of safe handling and the basic care and management of horses and ponies. The course is suitable for those wishing to pursue a career with horses or progression to further education such as RACE. It is also suitable for new horse owners to gain the basic knowledge and skills to care for equines.
